Having glasses doesn't alway mean you can see your clearest. When I was younger my eye doctor always prescribes a lower but satisfying lens prescription since my eyes were on a roll by keep on worsening. So I could always handle a stronger lens than the one I currently had. Sometimes it was needed to see far thing. When it was about time to change to a stronger lens I would compensate by titling my glasses at an angle downwards and I could see far images clearer now. Can you figure out why this happens?

Without having ever worn glasses, i can only guess that the curvature is more pronounced at the edges of the lenses, so the power is stronger there. what do you think about this?
